Sad
Tonight for a short while I felt the most stress a person could feel. There was a huge fire and for about an hour no one would tell us if it was our townhouses or the apartments next to our neighborhood. It ended up being the apartments and three dozen families are displaced. They lost everything because someone was moving out and backed into the gas meter in the front of the apartments. I can't imagine how they feel. I am thankful that everyone got out alive and that none of the brave men and women who fought the fire were injured. God bless our everyday heroes.

We have a walker
Tristan has been taking a few tentative steps here and there but his daycare provider just called and said that he is walking all over the place. I will try to get a video and post it. I have a feeling Rick and I are about to have a lot of changes in the Oates household.

Cranky Baby (facebook status)
Chrystal misses her cranky baby. Who knew cleaning a baby's nose would lead to being smacked in the face, having a bottle thrown at me, throwing my blackberry across the nursery, growling at me, and yelling at me in a language I can't understand.
Savannah
Savannah is one of my two nieces, she is my identical twin sisters oldest daughter. (7 years old going on 30)
Here are some pictures from when we were waiting for Uncle Rick to change a flat tire, and fooling around with the camera.

Daycare Closed (Facebook Update)
Chrystal loves Rick, he is going through a lot. Tristan is so out of sorts this week and so fussy, Rick is being a trooper.
Daycare is closed this week so Rick took the whole week to be off with Tristan and Tristan is getting three teeth so I feel for Rick. He does not complain or ask me to take off. I love this strong man of mine!Thursday, July 23, 2009

It only took 8 months, 3 weeks, and 3 days
BUT WE ARE 100% unpacked. It takes that long when your house and the baby your carrying are both later then the due day. LOL. So when your husband does the closing and your still in the hospital unpacking is that last thing you worry about. ANYWAYS now its party time, so everyone is invited over. I have posted a few pictures, they don't do the house justice. I love our community (with the exception of 2 neighbors) but I can't be 100% happy. I will try to get pictures of the whole house. Today's photo tour is of the Kitchen/Sunroom/Half Bath on the main level.
Floor plan for this level. (the sunroom adds an additional 100 sq ft its 10x10)

Bathroom Door (This could be a half bath, pantry, or washer/dryer)
Half Bath
Bathroom
Sunroom (You can't see the big sliding glass door on the one side.
Area beside sunroom. I am moving the table here and making the sunroom a sitting room.
Looking into kitchen
We plan to put a microwave above the stove to clear that corner.
