Tristan's First Trip to the ER

Last night while playing outside Tristan fell and cut his head. I being the over protective mother that I am rushed him to the ER. They said all was fine until he threw up a few times. Then they demanded a CT scan. They wanted to sedate Tristan but agreed to try it my way first. The CT scan was normal and Tristan is 100% healthy. He did wake up moaning, groaning and rubbing his head this morning. So I figure he must have a headache.

Waiting for the Doc. The shirt says it all. Live fast, nap hard!

Trying to take his bracelet off.

Proving nothing will keep him down or scare him, he tries to climb the bed.

Today I am thankful

My husband delivers gas to a very small station in Annapolis. It caught on fire and had he or one of his coworkers been there they surely would have died or had serious injuries. So thank you lord for protecting my husband and friends.

10 Months Old

Tristan is growing so fast. I feel like life is flying by and I am not in the drivers seat. I want to hit the brakes and spend more time with Tristan. He has gone from a little baby to a little boy. He has opinions, temper tantrums, and his needs have completely change. Tristan is walking and talking and everywhere all the time. He still loves to cuddle and some nights he sleeps with Mommy. Here are two photos I took of him last Sunday, the day after he turned 10 months. He was not happy that Mommy and Daddy drug him out of his air conditioned house to the hot park. So while he is not smiling, I still love these pictures.

Family!

We had a wonderful morning! Rick and I tickled Tristan awake and it was so cute because he would laugh and smile and then cuddle down like he was still asleep. I did not want to get out of bed.

Tristan

As I sit here watching Tristan play and think about the last 9 1/2 months he has blessed my life, I thank the lord for lending him to me to make my life better. He has grown so much since and I can't wait to see him learn more.
