Food Truck Friday... Sang on Wheels
Sang on wheels was at Franklin Square Park today. Then menu was vast and I had plenty of time to look as the line was long. Service is quick and friendly though. I always know the food will be wonderful when the lines are long. I finally chose the Shrimp Drunken Noodles combo with Thai Iced Tea. It was $10. As I walked through the office after putting it in a bowl everyone was questioning where I got it. It smelled that good.
Let's start with the Thai tea. The deep amber color of the tea and its milk-tinted upper layer make this beverage really stand out on your table, and the combination of strongly-brewed tea, dairy and sugar make it a perfect complement to hot weather and spicy food.
Moving on to the Shrimp Drunken Noodles. Chock full of perfectly cooked (still plenty of crunch) vegetables and just the right amount of sweet/spicy sauce. The Shrimp I got on top was immaculately cooked and the serving was generous without being too much. The noodles were also perfectly cooked. Everything was wonderful. I have a new favorite food truck.
