Going from Mommy's bed to a big boy bed.

Tristan has slept with me from day 1. I mean really he truly has either in the bassinet next to my bed or when he got bigger in my bed. Now that he is almost 4 he had to go. I bought him a twin bed to replace the toddler bed he NEVER used and let him pick his bedding. $200 later at Target he had the whole Batman set. Including a Batman pillow doll that keeps his eyes open all night and watches over Tristan. I spent another $100 on Amazon on peel and stick border, stickers and curtains. He loves his room. The only problem is now I am on a mattress on his floor.

It is a step in the correct direction, right? I'll keep telling myself that.
