My bad mood and bad lesson

Tristan was playing with some neighborhood kids. They all usually play and share well. Today was different. They wouldn't share with him, at all! He was hysterically upset. So it upset me. So what did I do? Ran him to the store and let him pick a new toy. Then I told him he didn't have to share it. He said Mom I like to share my toys with my friends. Of course this action (me going to the store and telling him he didn't have to share) caused my husband and I to argue. He said I am spoiling him. I hated to see him so upset. The children are 4 and 7. The 7 year old wasn't even using the toy a few times and he would pick it up and she would run over and take it. Then she said I am taking it inside so no one can play with it. Was I wrong? I felt so bad for him. He just wanted to play.

Any how. Crappy cell pic of Tristan's new toy.

Cool toy!! It's so hard when kids don't share...I get so frustrated that I can't "control" everything :)
Poor little guy! xoxo
